Pure Dance Productions was established in 2000 by Sonya Duffin to provide additional performance opportunities to intermediate and advanced jazz and tap dancers at South Bay Dance Center. Pure Dance Productions continued under the direction of an original member, Missy Schipper, from 2003 – 2007 and is currently co-directed by two other original members, Elizabeth Dickey and Jennifer Evans.

Female dancers should wear light suntan tights and have 1/2 up 1/2 down hair. Please bring black socks and your black performance jazz pants. We will be keeping your pants with the rest of your costumes after the first dress rehearsal. Please put your name on the inside tag of your pants, so they don't get misplaced. Moving Right Along, you will also need to bring your black camisole leotard. Also put your name inside this.
Male dancers, please bring a black button up shirt, black dress pants, and black socks. Jeremy, you will also need a white button up shirt.
Parents of Pure Dance/SBBA Members:
This year, instead of placing a note in the program for your favorite dancer, we are offering something new.
For a flat fee of $7 each, parents/grandparents/friends, etc. can write a message to their favorite dancer on an index card (that we will provide). The index card will be attached to a cute "Road Trip" related item. (If you would like to see the item, ask at the front desk - remember, it is a surprise for the dancers!) The message and little gift will be given to the dancers before the performances begin on April 19th.
There is no minimum or maximum number of words that can be written on the index card. However much you can fit on the card is acceptable. You may purchase as many as you like. Cards may be written in colored ink, stickers can be applies, etc.... Be as creative as you like!
If interested in writing a note, please ask the front desk for an index card and pay the $7 fee.
ALL NOTES MUST BE TURNED IN AT THE FRONT DESK NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, APRIL 11th.
